Tamil Marriage Invitation Words

The marriage between God and Israel

From Chapter 54 to 66 Isaiah's vision turns to the ultimate restoration of Israel which will take place at the hands of the Servant of the Lord.
God speaks to Israel as a husband to his wife. In chapter 50 (1) the Lord delivered the letter to his wife for divorce because of his misdeeds. He departs from his presence because he has found something indecent about him (Deuteronomy 24:1). God loves Israel and broke boyfriend from his youth (Jeremiah 2:1), but Jacob rejects the submission to the true God and pagan gods with a prostitute, according to the customs of the nations that inhabit the wicked (Jeremiah 2:20,24) was even a master of evil (Jeremiah 2:32-33). Israel has been rejected because of his numerous adulteries (Jeremiah 3:8).
The situation of Israel to God was also represented by the life of the prophet Hosea, who was called by God to marry a woman who would then stained by adultery (Hosea 1:2,3). Hosea's protest to this woman is serious and symbolizes the bitterness in the heart of God for the sin of Israel (Hosea 2:2-7). Hosea also divorces his wife, but this separation has as its goal to "rebuild a life "but to abandon his wife to the wretched road that you chose to realize that" life was much better than before "(Hosea 2:7). Hosea will return from his wife for ransom by the man who had sold and return to love it. The behavior of the prophet contrasts with the common attitude that a man of the world or an Israelite practitioner of the law would or would have had in place. The same law forbade a woman to join the hunt, had joined to another (Deuteronomy 24).
The love of Hosea to Gomer and God's love for his people are bigger than a law that was established to curb the effects of the hardness of hearts men (Mr 10:4-9). The love of God "does not seek its own interests, not s'inasprisce no charges evil, suffer all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1Co13: 4.7) and is never less (1Co13: 8).
He says the LORD to the bride of his youth who repents and returns to him (Isaiah 54):

4 Fear not, because you will not be more confused, do not be ashamed, for you will not be ashamed, but forget the shame of your youth, remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
5 Since your Maker is your husband, his name is the Lord of hosts, your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel, which will be called the God of the whole earth.
6 For the Lord called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, which has been repudiated, "says your God
7" For a brief moment I abandoned me, but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 In a fit of anger, for a moment I hid my face, but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, "says the Lord, your savior.
10 For the mountains to go away and the hills be removed, the love I shall not depart from you, nor my covenant of peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on you.

APPLICATIONS:
  • Copy marriage between God and Israel speaks of a love "supernatural" which every believer by the Holy Spirit wants and / or should love his wife. The man is called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, giving himself up for her (and for his sin).
  • The marriage between God and Israel has an eternal value and before the end of time these people will return in sincerity to worship the Lord of Hosts (Isaiah 54:13,17)
