It Process Audit Sheet

excellent knowledge

All this in order to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to him in his death, leading in some way to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or has already arrived at perfection. (Philippians)

Paul had not yet obtained one here called "perfection", but running toward that goal.
In the past he had put his trust in the practices of Judaism, hoping to be able to get any advantage or gain in the presence of God Then he realized that this was just junk or something completely useless that did not bear any kind of spiritual gain. But now Paul
consider how much trash not only those things but everything.
He gave up everything, the only thing that is worth MONEY AND 'THE EXCELLENCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS \u200b\u200bCHRIST'.
The starting point of this knowledge is to have the certainty of being found in Christ and not have to bring before God the other justice unless the justice of God which is through faith in Christ.
But this knowledge is only the beginning. Paul is not content with this, his goal is to reach excellency of the knowledge that an excellent knowledge of Christ. It 'obvious that he does not speak of a purely historical knowledge, but deep and spiritual.
The purpose of giving up everything, I may gain Christ and get justice of God which is based on faith is as follows:
1.conoscere Christ
2. power of his resurrection,
3. the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to him in his death.
the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus is to grab these things (for which we have already been grasped by Christ) as we prepare to come to the resurrection of the dead in the best possible way.
Again, as with the exercise of mercy in his first letter to Timothy, the comparison is to sports. It takes from us the determination to get this EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE discouraged without leaving behind the past, falls,
failures, continue running, not stop running.
The goal of our heavenly calling is summed up in three points: 1
.
know Christ must be our aspiration to increase in us the awareness and appreciation for the person of Christ, for the riches that we have gotten into it, for his glory, his
size, the size of his love .
2. the power of his resurrection
the resurrection of Christ is our power. The power of the Risen Christ lives in us to guide us in doing the will of God through the Holy Spirit we have received. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you (Acts 1). I was given all power in heaven and on earth. Go then. (Mt 28). We are aware of this wealth that we received when God calls us to do His will?
3. the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to him in his death
The supreme aspiration of a child of God is to have the honor of suffering for Christ as Christ suffered for us. This contention does not mean trying to be persecuted. But growing up in us the reality described in the preceding paragraphs will not be sterile plants
but full of zeal for the things of God do the will of God may suffer our bodies, can cause inner pain or even cause an external persecution against us.
All this should not be cause for sadness but supreme joy in having the honor to suffer and / or die as our Lord.

Paul himself did not believe it has already achieved this excellent knowledge of Christ and calls himself and all the believers not to stand back and cultivate the desire to reach this goal each from the point at which it arrived.
